Dr. Kennedy, a board-certified family medicine physician and obesity medicine specialist, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to PRINE Health’s Primary Care Department.
Dr. Kennedy specializes in women’s health, adult medicine, urgent care, and nutrition medicine. With over a decade of experience in weight loss management, she is committed to providing exceptional care to her patients. Her dedication to medicine extends beyond the clinic, as she is also a licensed New York State Volunteer Emergency Medical Technician, having served with the Bay Ridge Ambulance Volunteer Organization in Brooklyn for five years.
Dr. Kennedy’s academic journey is marked by excellence. She earned her medical degree from the SUNY Stony Brook University School of Medicine and completed her residency training at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut, as part of the Columbia University Family Medicine Program. Her undergraduate studies were completed at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, City College of New York.
Throughout her medical education and training, Dr. Kennedy has been recognized with numerous honors and awards. Notably, she received Senator Golden’s Certificate of Appreciation for Outstanding Dedication and Service to the Community and the Leon Marienberg Family Practice Award. Her research prowess was highlighted when she secured first place for her poster presentation, “Identifying High-Risk Patients for Substance Abuse in the Stamford Community,” at a competition sponsored by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, Connecticut chapter.
