More Good Days, Together: Honoring Mental Health Awareness Month with PRINE Health

Every May, we join millions across the country in recognizing Mental Health Awareness Month—an observance that began in 1949 to fight stigma, expand support, and deepen understanding of mental wellness. At PRINE Health, we believe caring for the mind is just as essential as caring for the body. True wellness begins when both are supported with compassion, connection, and community.

The Power of Connection: “More Good Days, Together”

This year’s theme from Mental Health America—“More Good Days, Together”—reminds us that mental health is not a journey we take alone. Connection with family, friends, colleagues, and care teams can bring hope, healing, and strength. Whether it’s reaching out for support or simply being present for someone who needs to talk, each moment of connection helps build a stronger, healthier community.

Sharing Our Stories: Strength in Every Voice

National Alliance on Mental Illness reinforces this message with its 2026 theme, “In Every Story, There’s Strength.” When people share their experiences, it helps others realize they are not alone—and that seeking help is an act of courage. At PRINE Health, we encourage open, honest conversations between patients, providers, and communities. Listening to one another fosters understanding, reduces stigma, and builds resilience.

A Symbol of Hope: The Color Green

Throughout May, you may notice the color green appearing more often—in ribbons, clothing, and community displays. Green symbolizes renewal, balance, and growth in mental health awareness. It serves as a reminder that healing is possible and that every day offers a chance for renewal, especially when we support one another.

Support Is Here: Taking Action for Your Mental Health

Awareness is important—but access to care is essential. That’s why we want to remind our team that support is already here, private, and within reach.

Through ADP Workforce Now, all employees have access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This resource is free, completely confidential, and designed to support you through life’s challenges. Services include:

  • Mental health counseling
  • Grief and emotional support
  • Professional referrals for additional care

You can access the EAP anytime by navigating to:
ADP > Myself > Benefits > Employee Discounts – LifeMart

Whether you’re facing a difficult moment or simply want someone to talk to, this resource is here for you—no matter where you are in your journey.

Together, We Create More Good Days

This May, let’s move beyond awareness and into action. By reaching out, sharing our stories, and using the support systems available to us, we can help ensure that every day holds the possibility of more good days—for ourselves and for each other.

If you or someone you know needs immediate mental health support, dial 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline—available 24/7, free, and confidential.
